The Brand Story : GLAMSTITCH

• The Inspiration

Every brand has a story, and the story of Glamstitch begins with a simple yet powerful idea: fashion should be comfortable, stylish, and accessible to all. Growing up in India, We experienced firsthand the challenges of finding casual wear that combined quality, affordability, and a sense of personal style. The existing market was either saturated with fast fashion lacking durability or premium brands with sky-high prices.

• The Turning Point

While we were hustling with our job life in Gurgaon, a friend from Obra, a tier 3 city in UP, visited us. On the same day we planned for a party and that friend of us wore an LV t-shirt. Impressed, we asked where he bought it. He told us that he got it in Obra for Rs 500. We were surprised, as LV can’t have this low price also, they don’t have a showroom there. When asked if it was original, he didn’t know, nor did he recognize it as a luxury brand. The only reason he bought that t-shirt was the design and for our surprise the quality was not so good. This made us realize that people in tier 3 cities are willing to spend on fashion and desire quality clothing, but there’s a significant gap in authentic product availability and brand awareness. We recognized the need for stylish yet comfortable clothing in tier 2 and tier 3 cities and decided to create a valuable brand to fill this gap and that’s how we stitched the idea of affordable & a quality clothing brand – “GLAMSTITCH,” initially catering to fulfill the need of online tshirt stores in Delhi NCR to those who want to shop trendy t-shirts online in NCR region, a brand that embraces diversity and offers stylish & affordable clothes that boost comfort and confidence.

• The Challenge

We were also very well aware of the fashion industry’s environmental impact. The unsustainable practices of many brands were troubling. We felt a strong need to offer an alternative that didn’t compromise the planet for the sake of style. This became a cornerstone of our mission: to create fashion that is not only stylish and comfortable but also sustainable and ethical.

And that’s the reason we chose butterfly as our brand icon. A butterfly sucks up the nectar from flowers but doesn’t harm them in any way but also help flowers to reproduce as well. At Glamstitch, we have adopted an ecofriendly process from manufacturing to packaging to reduce the environmental impact the cloth manufacturing have.

• The Vision

With a clear vision in mind, we set out to create Glamstitch. Our goal is to build a brand that resonates with the dynamic young population of India. We want to offer them clothing that they could feel proud of, both in terms of style and values. Glamstitch was born out of a desire to provide high-quality, fashionable, comfortable but affordable clothing that reflects the individuality of each wearer.
